Easter is a fun and exciting time for parents and children alike. One thing that adds fun and excitement are the many simple and easy to make Easter crafts. Most of these crafts are simple enough for children to make on their own, but they are lots of fun for parents as well.

Paper Plate Easter Bunnies
The paper plate Easter bunny is perhaps the easiest of all Easter crafts. All you need are a couple of paper plates. Take one paper plate, cut two ear shapes from it and then glue or staple them to the top of the second paper plate. After you are done attaching the ears simply draw a face and complete the look with some cotton balls around the edge of the plate.

Construction Paper Crafts
It is easy to make Easter eggs, lambs and other decorations with construction paper. After you are done these simple construction paper crafts can be used to decorate the home, school and office.

Cookie Cutter Fun
Lamb, egg, bunny and chick shaped cookie cutters can be used to make not only cookies but fun shaped sandwiches, toast, brownies and other treats as well.

Make Your Own Egg Dye
An all natural and totally non-toxic egg dye can be made using kool aid, beet juice or any other natural product with a deep rich color.

Make Your Own Egg Holders
Before you make those hand dyed Easter eggs, you will need a place to hold them. Make your own Easter egg holders by cutting empty paper towel tubes into two inch sections. Place the sections upright and use them to hold the eggs.

Easter is a season of giving, and what better way to spread joy than making extra Easter baskets to distribute to nursing homes, hospitals and neighbors.

Go Outdoors
Decorating a tree in the yard with Easter eggs and other decorations can be lots of fun for parents and children alike. There is no reason Easter celebrations have to remain indoors.
