Easter Bunny Mask
You will need:
paper plate
pink construction paper
pink and/or white pipe cleaners
yarn
Directions:
Using the paper plate, cut out eyes and nose in the plate. Cut out bunny ears from pink paper and glue to the plate. Use pipe cleaners to make whiskers, attach to plate by poking through and knotting at back, or glue them on. Use yarn to tie to either side of plate to tie around your head.

Bunny Headbands
You will need:
construction paper, gray and pink
glue or stapler
Directions:
Measure your child's head, and cut a piece of construction paper long enough to create a headband. Glue or staple the paper together so the headband fits snugly on your child's head but is loose enough to take off.. Cut from gray paper two ears, and then pink paper for the "inner" ear. Let your child help you glue the pink ear to the gray ear. Then, either staple or glue the ears to the headband.
Clothespin Bunnies
You will need:
old fashion style wooden clothes pins
paint, white, pink or light brown
small Googly eyes
glue
Directions:
Have the children paint the clothes pin. After the paint is dry, glue the eyes to the pin. Turn the pin upside down so that the bunny will have ears.
Easter Scene Sponge Print
You will need:
sponges in various animal shapes
paint, various colors
white paper
art smock
rinse water
Directions:
Obtain sponges shaped as lambs, bunnies or ducks (available at most craft stores). Have your child dip the sponges into paint and press gently on a piece of paper to create their own Easter scene.
Baby Chicks
You will need:
empty egg cartons
cotton balls
paint, yellow tempura
baby powder
glue
orange construction paper
scissors
small google eyes
Directions:
Give each child one egg cup cut from an egg carton and two cotton balls. Put a mixture of baby powder and yellow powdered tempera paint into a plastic bag. Allow each child to place two cotton balls and shake for a minute or two. Then carefully take the cotton balls out of the bag, and gently tap the extra powder off. Have your child glue their cotton balls in their egg cups, one on top of the other. Then let them add an orange construction paper beak, and small googly eyes.

Paper Mache Eggs
You will need:
paper mache paste
balloon
tape
1-inch pieces newspaper, newsprint or paper toweling
pie tin
paint brushes
colored tissue paper
shellac (optional)
Paper mache paste recipe includes 1 cup water, 1/4 cup flour until thin and runny. Stir into 5 cups boiling water and boil for 2-3 minutes. Cool until you can dip paper into mixture without burning yourself.
Directions:
Blow up a balloon and tape to a table. Dip strips of newspaper into mache paste and place carefully on balloon. Continue overlapping pieces of newspaper on balloon. Cover balloon completely and let dry overnight. Decorate the dried ballon with paint or colored tissue in pretty pastel Easter colors. Finish with shellac for a shiny, glazed effect.

Decorative Easter Eggs
You will need:
scissors
construction paper, various colors
paint, markers, glitter, stickers, etc...
Directions:
Have the children cut out oval shapes from various colors of construction paper. They may decorate these with paint, markers, glitter, stickers, or any other materials that you wish to provide. Let children post the eggs on the windows or tape-able surfaces.
Eggshell Collage
You will need:
food coloring
plastic gloves
crushed eggshells
glue
white paper
Directions:
Wear plastic gloves and apply food coloring to crushed eggshells in many different colors. Allow to dry. (Use the eggshells left over from making an egg cake!) Let your child glue the eggshells to a piece a paper after the dye has dried.
Cotton Tail Bunnies
You will need:
white paper
cotton balls
glue
pencil
Directions:
Let your child glue cotton balls to a piece of paper in the form of a bunny. For some children, it may help to draw a picture of the bunny first.
Feathered Duckies
You will need:
white paper
various colors of feathers
glue
pencil
Directions:
Trace a duck shape onto a piece of paper and have children glue on different colored feathers onto the duck.
Baby Lambs
You will need:
white paper
cotton balls
glue
pencil
Cut out a lamb from white construction paper. Let your child glue cotton balls onto the paper.
